 Electronic Review Services
Kimball Engineering is happy to offer electronic plan review services to its clients. Electronic reviews can expedite the plan review and approval process as well as save valuable time and money to both the jurisdiction and permit applicant. There are actually three electronic plan review methods that our office utilizes at this time. Those methods are:
- Existing electronic plan review systems used by our clients
- WC³'s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
- WC³'s Third-Party eReview Process
Many of our clients already have an electronic plan review system in place and in those instances we are happy to use their system. Our office has also developed our own Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for this purpose. This system has become very popular with many of our clients and has been customized by the State of Utah to meet their needs for managing the construction of new and existing state-owned buildings.
The third-party eReview process can be used when files are submitted electronically to our office while not utilizing the jurisdiction's system or WC³'s EDMS. This process requires that the applicant submit an eReview Form prior to beginning the review of the project. Please click on the following link for more information regarding this process.
Each of our reviewers is familiar with the process of performing electronic plan reviews and utilize multiple large-scale monitors to assist in the electronic review process. We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding our electronic plan review services.
